Airlie Gardens engagement sessions are something I need more of in my life. In the 7 years I have lived in Wilmington, this is only my 2nd engagement session at this incredible venue. I am so in love with this beautiful place as a backdrop. There is endless inspiration, and tons of opportunities to create the perfect portrait. The perfectly manicured landscape makes the session more fun because rather than spending our time searching for clean and pretty backdrops, we get to focus on having fun and capturing the couple. Jacquelyn and Kyle did everything right for their engagement photos. They picked a perfect backdrop, brought two complimentary outfits, and they had fun. Being prepared for your shoot makes all the difference in the world. I get asked a lot what wardrobe choices work best for engagement sessions, and I am certainly going to start encouraging my clients to dress up more. I absolutely love that this couple wore a tux and a dress for their shoot. This is a once in a lifetime session, why not go all out!
