These pictures are just too wonderful! Of course, you couldn’t have two better looking or more precious subjects (or three, including Mr. Hansel). There’s not a single bad picture in the whole bunch. I think my favorites are the beach pictures, since that is where the engagement took place and where they will begin their new life together. Cheers to the bride and groom and these beautiful shots! Love.

I think both parts are amazing…especially the sunset picture on the beach in part 2…but my favorite has to be part 1. I love the trees and the “woodsiness” of the pictures.:) I thought the picture of him reading to her was very sweet. Also, the rest of the pictures in part 1 were fun and really showed their personalities. They seem like such a sweet couple!

Jody + Roman. Kids photos at Greenfield Lake Park

Wow! I don’t think I have ever gotten so many perfect images in one mini session!  I hosted a day of mini sessions at Greenfield Lake last weekend, and my friend and Stroller Strides Instructor came out with her little boy.  I was just looking them over and I was only intending on posting one quick teaser on Facebook, but I couldn’t stop going…

These are just a few of the awesome photos we got, and we only spent 30 mins together!!!

Lacey + Matt. Engagement Session Part I. Engagement Pictures in Wilmington NC

All I kept thinking during my first meeting with Lacey was, “please let me book this wedding. please let me book this wedding.”  ;)  Lacey is a doll! She is such a sweety, and obviously she is going to be a stunning bride!!  She told me Matt would be my “hard sale,” so I was pretty excited when I got the email that they wanted to book.  I had sent over some “cool lighting photos” that Matt had requested, and I passed the test!! Wahooo.  We had so much fun on this shoot.  Like most people, they were so happy that we did an engagement session, because it gave them the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera.  It’s smart to get that out of the way, so you can just relax and enjoy your wedding day.

We explored Greenfield Lake Park for Part I. I always invite my clients to bring along props that tell us a little about them as a couple.  I love the props Lacey + Matt brought.  So cute!!  Enjoy!

Carly + Mike. Carolina Beach NC Wedding.

Carly and Mike had an intimate ceremony at a little church near Carolina Beach, followed by a beautiful reception at a beach house on the water.  It’s quite obvious how gorgeous this couple is.  Carly kept things simple and personable and I Loved her vision. Carly + Mike truly made this wedding about their love for each other.  All too often I see weddings that are more about the design than about the couple and the marriage.  This wedding was refreshing in so many ways:)

Thank you Carly and Mike for inviting me to be a small part of your big day!

Ceremony: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
Reception: Beach House. Carolina Beach.
Catering: Bon Appetite
Cupcakes: Pleasure Island Cupcakes
Hair + makeup: Earthbound Salon
Dress: Nicole Miller
Flowers: Sister of the bride

The picture of Dave and Kate sitting in the sand is beautiful. They are gorgeous and the picture of love! The interaction with the dog I liked, too. The sunset picture is the epitome of love at the beach. It is absolutely gorgeous. Good job to Susie, Dave and Kate.
