Baby Derek. Three Months.

Once again I had the opportunity to work with my faithful clients that I love so much; Dean, Erica and baby Derek:)This time we changed things up and they headed up to my part of town. We hung out at an Encinitas Beach and soaked up this gorgeous December weather. I realized again today how blessed I am to live in southern California. How many places can you get photos like this just a few days before Christmas?!

As you may know, I am visiting my sister and niece in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. I was out shopping on black friday listening to my cheesy Christmas music, and I started missing them sooooo much. I decided I HAD to come visit during the holiday season. Better yet, I decided to fly in and surprise them:)It absolutely worked and they were both shocked and delighted. I have been here 3 days, I have 1.5 left, and I am having an amazing time!!! There really is nothing like family during the holidays!

Today when Emily came home from school I grabbed my camera and snapped off a few pics. In addition to her looking so cute, I was going through “PMW” (picture makeing withdraw:)

I am very honored to have one of my engagement sessions featured on the blog of Red Letter Days. You might remember Eric and Sara from their posts because all of their photos are super fun!!!! They were an amazing couple to work with, and having the opportunity to photograph an event put together by the very talented ladies at Red Letter Days…well, I am a lucky gal!

Prints, Albums CD’s …OH MY

With the wonderful world of digital photography, we all know the feeling of having 1000′s of images on a cd, and very few in print! Well, that needs to stop:)Fortunately, my clients see it the same way. I have been encouraging people to order albums now more than ever! I used to make it simple for my clients and simply offer them a cd of images. I still do that, but now I push a little harder for the album option:)So, needless to say I have been an album designing machine these days, which is also why my blogging has been a bit behind:)
