Reunited in England…

Many of you know that my husband, Jeremy, has spent the last month in Chengdu, China. He was studying acupuncture in a hospital, eating some interesting and quite delicious (according to Jer) food, and having Life Changing experiences! You can learn more about them on his blog, and by purchasing the first of many books he plans on publishing!!!

After 4 very long weeks, we have been reunited. I have to say I was a bit more excited about this than he. Jeremy has discovered a love and passion for China. One that I will probably never understand. I learned a lot while he was away! I discovered with his help the importance of individual experiences inside of a partnership. Although this was very hard for me, it has only made our union stronger. One of the first things he said to me is “I will do this again, but I will always come back.” Wow. There are so many stages to marriage, and after 5 years, I have discovered another one. This all has a lot to do with the fact that Jeremy has officially graduated from PCOM and we will be spending this summer enjoying every moment of our lives together in sunny so cal. Life is just beginning!!!

So, the beginning of this NEW life, starts in England. Yesterday was the first day of our vacation together and we visited Bolton Abbey. If I try to explain the beauty it will only diminish it. So, enjoy the photos of the Abbey and a few of Jeremy and I. You’ll notice I have a ridiculous smile on my face in every picture:)

Jeremy: I love you more than anything in this world. In fact, if I lose every – THING and I still have you, I will be completely content!!!

Enjoy…

Sheep EVERYWHERE. I love it. They are literally everywhere. No matter where you are driving you can count on seeing sheep…and a few lamb along the way…

The Abbey from a distance…

Inside the Abbey…

After a gorgeous hike in the very green hillside, we stopped at the cutest cafe for a delicious lunch and some amazing local brew! Yum!!!

Gotta love the phone booths!!!

That’s all for now. Much more fun on the way. We went rowing in the River Nidd today. We’ll be heading to York tomorrow and London on Friday.

Cheers for now!

Gorgeous pics! I love your smile. I’m not sure I’ve seen you look happier. I am so glad for you to be with Jer again!

Sneak Peak…

I am having sooooo much fun in England, which is why I haven’t posted in a while:)My AMAZING husband joined me here two days ago, and I have never been so happy to see someone in my life. You really appreciate what you have when you get a taste of life without it. That said, I am going to post a few scenic shots, and then get back to my baby. So, a taste of England for you…

This is …Brimham Rocks

You’ll notice from the pics I have had FABULOUS weather!!! It rained the first two days and it has been gorgeous ever since:)

Much more to come in the next few days! I did a photo shoot of my brother and his wife Amy. They are the cutest! I will also be posting some images of my baby and me here in England.

Happy Tuesday:)

England…why I’m really here…

my niece and nephew. Elliot and Oliva Lehman. They are AMAZING. Don’t get me wrong, England is beautiful and it is a fantastic place to Visit! Visit being the key word, because this rain makes me want to sit under a blanket, eat chocolate covered biskits and drink tea all day long! That being said, we haven’t done much so far. I walked into town with my sister-in-law, Amy, yesterday. We ate at the most amazing little veggie cafe! We got a coffee that tasted like they forgot to add the coffee (tea is better here:)and we got caught in the rain on the walk home…shocker!

Anyway, I am thrilled to be here with my family. It is hard being so far away from them, especially when you see how fast the kids grow up in between visits.
So, without further ado….

and a few images from the walk into town…

SO cute! I hope I get to meet them someday before they loose their British accent! I can’t wait for you to come home… I miss you a ton!

Some free time…

Good Morning Everyone! Well, it’s morning for me anyway. It is my first day in England with the Lehman Family!!!! I arrived here yesterday morning at 9am and took the day to get adjusted. It is SOOOO gorgeous here. I was welcomed with beautiful blue skies! The drive from the airport took about 2 hrs and I was in awe the entire time. I know what you are thinking….where are the pics?! Well my camera was in the trunk and I was soooo exhausted after a 14 hr travel day, that I decided to take in the beauty without any interference. It was stunning. Everything is green and there is so much open space. This is something I am not used to living in So Cal:)Anyway, I promise to start creating images immediately. From this point forward, I vow to have my camera with me at all times!!!

So, what is the point of this blog you ask?! Well, I had some free time as I am enjoying my coffee this lovely ( rainy:), England morning, so I decided to share two of my favorite YouTube videos with you. I was telling my fam about this last night, and realized anyone who hasn’t seen it, SHOULD. If you have a minute to break from your day, watch this video. So Rad!

Happy Wednesday:)

And another. If you ever watch the Ellen Show you have probably seen this. I can’t get enough of little Charlie. So freaking Hilarious…

Happy Earth Day :)

Yesterday was Earth Day, and I celebrated by joining thousands of other San Diegans at the Earth Day Fair in Balboa Park. This thing was out of control. So many people, and so many awesome vendors.

The highlight of my day was running into my good friends at Skoy! Michelle and Karen are the brilliant minds behind these adorable, and 100% biodegradable cleaning cloths. I highly recommend checking out their website and getting a few for your self, as well as friends and family. If you have been conscious about going green like I have, then you’ll instantly fall in love with Skoy!

My second favorite part of the day was discovering this amazing bus! I wish I had time to learn more about it. If you have any insight, let me know!
This little girl just happened to be on the bus at this exact moment. I love getting shots like this!!!

And finally some random images I captured throughout the day…

I do not know this girl. Saw this happening and thought it was the cutest:)

–PEACE!!!
