Regina + Derek. Engagement Session. Part II

I met Regina and Derek a few months ago at a local Wine Bar in Encinitas. I knew after 5 mins that I wanted to work with this couple! They are so sweet, fun and authentic. For their engagement session they had the fabulous idea of bringing their beach cruisers to the beach for some Fun! I LOVE when clients bring themselves and their hobbies into their photo sessions!

Enjoy some more of their photos…

Album Designs…

Tis the season of wedding album design!!! For some reason, every couple from the previous year comes back at the same time to order their albums:)The good thing about this is once you are in “design mode” there is no turning back!

I am working on a new fabulous sample album, but until that is ready I figured I could show a few of my most recent designs. I customize every album design to the individual couple and their wedding. I like to keep my designs very simple in order to keep them timeless! There are many fads in photography and design, and I prefer to stay with the Classic Look!

Here are a few of my fav’s from Tiffany and Toan’s Wedding. Most of these were taken at the Estancia Resort in La Jolla!

If you passed on getting an album at your own wedding it’s not too late! Right now I am offering 10% off the price of albums for all couples who married in ’07 and ’08:)

Matt and Sam :: For the Fun of It

I received a phone call from Matt a few weeks back asking about my availability for a For the Fun of It photo session. He and his girlfriend Sam would be in town visiting family and wanted a take the opportunity to have some professional photos taken. Once I heard their story, I was completely excited! Sam and Matt met here in SD last May, only weeks before they both had plans to relocate! Sam was moving to Georgia for a fabulous job opportunity, and Matt was heading all the way to New Zealand to go back to school to become a Vet. Something inside them both said…I can’t let this go…and they have been dating long distance since. They see each other every 3-6 months for anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months at a time. Thanks to new technology like SKYPE, they are able to see each other and talk often. They are so in love, and being with them made me appreciate how blessed I am to wake up to Jeremy EVERYDAY! All I know is, if you two get married one day, I will be right there ready to photograph the wedding of the decade:)!!!

Enjoy some teasers…

First stop. Diner!

After the couple shared a milkshake, we decided to take advantage of the sugar rush…

..one of my favorite backdrops are old abandoned buildings…or even just buildings that look abandoned.

Final Stop…where else???….beach baby!

If you want to have FUN while having your photo taken…I’m your girl;)

Sam + Matt: What a fabulous time I had with you both! I knew it was going to be great when I pulled in right behind you…and when I “lost” my keys and you so graciously offered to let me use you AAA. You guys Kick some serious A**!!!:)
