I always ask my clients to keep me posted on what their husbands/boyfriends/fiance’s say when they get their photos.  I just got several emails that made me smile from ear to ear.  I always tell my clients that it’s a gift for both of you…

Hey Susie!

I finally gave the photos to my husband over the weekend and he LOVED them! When he opened the box with the album he almost looked confused and when he saw what was inside the album, he was speechless. He just grinned from ear to ear slowly admiring every page. I think his first words were “perfect, just perfect.”:)

I can’t thank you enough for all your hard work. You were so kind and professional and gave such great direction. You made everything so comfortable and easy! I am so glad I chose to do this for my husband and I am thrilled I chose YOU!!!!

These photos are something we will both cherish and I truly cannot thank you enough. I know my husband has always seen me as wonderful and uniquely beautiful and now, with your photos, I think I see it too!

I got my album and CD in the mail as scheduled (thanks again for sending them!) and gave them to my fiance last night for Valentine’s Day. He was absolutely blown away!! He couldn’t even say anything until he’d looked through the album twice…with his jaw hanging open the whole time:-)It was SUCH a success, and he love love LOVED it!! Turned out even better than I’d hoped. Thank you so much again for this whole experience. It was more fun than I could have imagined, and you made it so easy to relax and be comfortable in my own skin. You’ve definitely made a convert out of me, and I can’t wait to do it again sometime!:-)

After ever session I ask my clients to fill out a survey. It just gives them the opportunity to tell me about the experience, and let me know if there is anything they loved or didn’t love! It’s a great way for me to constantly be improving.

Reading these surveys is always so rewarding!!! I just opened this one and my smile just got so big.  Other than my family life, nothing makes me happier than making a girl feel gorgeous in her skin.  Grateful. Blessed. Honored.

My maternity session. Wilmington NC maternity and maternity boudoir photographers

I had the fun experience of being on the other side of the camera recently! Trinity, my associate, photographed my 33 week pregnant belly!  I absolutely love these photos, and I thought it was only fair to share them, since I am always telling women to do this!  I believe even more how important maternity boudoir is.  I have felt really great during this pregnancy, but overall, I have felt a little bigger than preferred, and a little less beautiful than I see other pregnant women.  Seeing these photos makes me see how beautiful this big round belly is and just this time in my life as a whole.  I am so happy I will have these forever to remember this special time.  I will get to pass these along to my daughter, and how sweet that will be when she is having children of her own:)  I posted a few of my favorites below, but you can see all of them on our facebook page here.

Another hot mama!  The gorgeous Ms. K was a completely transformed woman from the first time I met her.  After hair + makeup, a bit of sexy lingerie and seeing a few of her images on the back of my camera, she felt and looked STUNNING!!! There was a look in her eyes and just a way about her that seemed more confident and sexy.  What a fun session!!! Her man is going to looooove these!!:)

Ms. B. Boudoir shoot round 2! mini and full boudoir sessions in wilmington nc

Ms. B. attended a mom’s night out boudoir marathon last may and loved the experience and the photos.  The sessions that day were only 30 mins long, so she came back for a full session recently, and we had so much fun! I love that I had the chance to work with her for a full 90 mins session!! Of course she got the full experience with hair and makeup styling by Jamie Warzel and she looked and felt amazing after the shoot.  I know I’ve said it before, but I LOVE working with mom’s! It is so rare we get to take time out for ourselves, especially for pampering!!!  Ms. B did this as a gift for herself and no one else! I love that she didn’t wait until she had a reason, or a person to do this for.
