I had a BLAST working with Kristen and Matt during their downtown wilmington nc engagement session. We talked for a while about how we could incorporate something personal to them, and we decided on IronClad Brewery in downtown Wilmington. When they arrived I noticed they brought along Kristen’s mom to watch their pup, but I couldn’t start without capturing a few photos of all three of them first ;)As for our first location, this couple loves to drink craft beer, and have fun together; which are both pretty obvious in these photos! Shooting at Ironclad was like being in my dream studio. That is, if you add in a few kegs of beer anyway. The exposed brick walls, real wood details and floors, and a couple so madly involve was a dream!!! After capturing some gorgeous photos at the brewery, we headed over to Greenfield lake park for a more natural backdrop. I love have several different looks in one session. We all agreed these two locations complimented each other well. If you are contemplation having a downtown Wilmington NC engagement session, I highly encourage it. There is such a variety of things to do, beautiful backdrops to utilize and so much variety!
