“I am so happy I found you! How do I book?”
A signed contract and one third of the final balance is required to book Susie Linquist Photography. Once we receive verbal confirmation from you, we begin the contract process. Due to the limited number of weddings we offer, we must have the contract and deposit to hold the date!
“How many weddings do you photograph each year?”
We photograph no more than 25 weddings each year. It is very important that we are able to give every wedding the same love, passion and enthusiasm that makes us love what we do. We know that if we overdue it, we will end up burnt out and uninspired. We know how lucky we are to love our jobs, so we make sure to keep it that way!
“Are you willing to travel?”
Absolutely! We love traveling for weddings! Whether it is to a beautiful island or small town in the middle of America, we would love to come meet your family and document your day!!!
“Do you charge sales tax?”
Yes. All professional photographers are required by law to charge sales tax.
“How long have you been photographing weddings?”
I started photographing weddings in college with my old medium format film camera! ahhh those were the days. I graduated with a degree in photography and moved to Southern California. I officially opened Susie Linquist Photography in Encinitas in the fall of 2005. In the summer of 2008 we expanded by traveling for weddings all over the U.S., in addition to bringing on two more photographers! Susie and Amy relocated to NC in 2010, and Patty remains photographing our clients on the West Coast!
“Will I receive a cd of images from my wedding?”
Yes, every package comes with a dvd of all high resolution images ready for printing. If you ordered an album, the dvd will be delivered with the album. If your package does not include a wedding album, then you will receive your cd in the mail within 3 months of the wedding.
“How long will it take to see my wedding images?”
We put A LOT of time and care into your images. We go through each and every image photographed at your wedding and narrow it down to the very best ( typically around 100 per hour of coverage ). We then edit every image to meet our very high expectations. Due to the extra attention we give your proofs, they are typically presented to you in your private on line gallery within 4-6 weeks of your wedding.
“How long will it take for me to receive my wedding album?”
Once you place your order, it typically takes about 12 weeks. 4-6 for design, and another 4-6 for printing. We recommend choosing your images within the first two weeksof receiving them so that we can immediately begin the creative process of the album design.
“What Equipment do you use?”
Susie Linquist Photography uses all Nikon Digital Equipment, and we photograph every wedding in RAW. We use Nikon because of its durability and gorgeous color!
“What Album Company do you use?”
We use mostly Leather Craftsmen because they are extremely customizable. Every album is made by hand, so we can create a size and cover layout that is unique to you!
