Our Style

We are asked by many couples to describe “our style.”  You can tell a lot by looking through our photos, but I like to explain why we do things the way we do.  We have been in business a long time, and over the years we have seen a lot of trends! We learned early on that photography, especially weddings, should be creative, yet timeless.  We avoid trends so that when you look back at your photos in 20 years you will still love them because they are classic.  We stick to vibrant colors and dramatic black and white, and we document your day with a perfect blend of candids and posed photos.  The entire time we are with you we’ll be documenting the emotions, the love, and the anticipation.  We  are inspired by laughter and happy tears, so please don’t hold anything back! In addition to that we also feel it is very important to take time out for formal photos.  This way we can create some gorgeous photos that might not have happened organically.  While doing so, we pose in a way that you feel comfortable and relaxed, and it will never look or feel forced.  We don’t believe it’s just the end result that matters. Whether we are photographing your wedding or your family, we want to create lasting memories. We want the entire experience to be enjoyable.  So expect to have fun and be relaxed when you are working with us, because that is our “style.”    We are suckers for love stories, and we can’t wait to hear yours!
