This Wilmington NC outdoor senior portrait session was so much fun, and made me wonder why I’m not photographing senior portraits more often. I was so inspired by Angela’s ambition and eagerness for life.
It doesn’t matter how old, photographing a women of any age, and helping her feel beautiful, is what inspires me most. This time, I got to photograph a young, beautiful, and incredibly smart, high school senior.

She and her mom spent the afternoon with me at Fort Fisher and we just laughed, posed, and had fun while she looked and felt like a model for two solid hours. The very next morning I joined them at their local Carolina beach home and they got to see a slideshow of the photos. It was so fun to sit with the whole family and watch the photos of this beautiful girl, and hear her parents rave about the daughter they are so proud of. These photos are special now, and they will only be cherished more as the years go by.
