Many of you know that my husband, Jeremy, has spent the last month in Chengdu, China. He was studying acupuncture in a hospital, eating some interesting and quite delicious (according to Jer) food, and having Life Changing experiences! You can learn more about them on his blog, and by purchasing the first of many books he plans on publishing!!!
After 4 very long weeks, we have been reunited. I have to say I was a bit more excited about this than he. Jeremy has discovered a love and passion for China. One that I will probably never understand. I learned a lot while he was away! I discovered with his help the importance of individual experiences inside of a partnership. Although this was very hard for me, it has only made our union stronger. One of the first things he said to me is “I will do this again, but I will always come back.” Wow. There are so many stages to marriage, and after 5 years, I have discovered another one. This all has a lot to do with the fact that Jeremy has officially graduated from PCOM and we will be spending this summer enjoying every moment of our lives together in sunny so cal. Life is just beginning!!!
So, the beginning of this NEW life, starts in England. Yesterday was the first day of our vacation together and we visited Bolton Abbey. If I try to explain the beauty it will only diminish it. So, enjoy the photos of the Abbey and a few of Jeremy and I. You’ll notice I have a ridiculous smile on my face in every picture 🙂
Jeremy: I love you more than anything in this world. In fact, if I lose every – THING and I still have you, I will be completely content!!!
Enjoy…
Sheep EVERYWHERE. I love it. They are literally everywhere. No matter where you are driving you can count on seeing sheep…and a few lamb along the way…
The Abbey from a distance…
Inside the Abbey…
After a gorgeous hike in the very green hillside, we stopped at the cutest cafe for a delicious lunch and some amazing local brew! Yum!!!
Gotta love the phone booths!!!
That’s all for now. Much more fun on the way. We went rowing in the River Nidd today. We’ll be heading to York tomorrow and London on Friday.
Cheers for now!
