For those of you keeping track, this is my third time photographing baby Derek, and 6th time photographing his beautiful parents! We had a blast this time, as usual! We roamed their new neighborhood, hung out, and took some fun pics 🙂 Waking up Saturday morning to go to their session just didn’t feel like work! Thanks Dean, Erica and Derek for another fun session!!!

It has been so fun watching Derek’s personality grow! I love the laughter and the many different facial expressions throughout this session! I think his personality really shows through 🙂
I quickly realized that posing, as with most kids, was not going to give us the opportunity to really capture Derek! He loves motion of any kind. walk, dance, put him on your head 🙂 …anything! So that’s what we did 🙂
I heart wild flowers 🙂 Every year around this time we are surrounded by gorgeous wild flowers here in So Cal. I take advantage of them whenever possible! I love these next two….
