There is a theme of amazing kids surprising their parents with sessions this month, and let me tell you… I’M LOVING IT! I got a call a couple months back from a previous client, Olivia. I had photographed her family 4 years ago and she wanted to surprise her mom with a shoot for her 50th birthday. Not only did she fly in unexpected the night before, but she surprised her mom with hair and makeup by Tess Wheatly, a shoot with me, and even a new dress to wear.
When the day came I was so bummed because there was NO sun, and I had a vision for this shoot and it just wasn’t going my way. Well when we arrived at the beach I realized… OF COURSE! Amy is no ordinary women, and so mother nature made sure our surroundings were as spectacular as she is. The wind was there to blow her hair and her dress beautifully, and the waves crashed behind her in celebration of her! It was absolutely PERFECT!
Amy is one of my favorite yoga teachers of all time, and she “coincidentally” came back into my life the week I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training. Yeah.. pretty amazing. Happy birthday, Amy! I am so glad you are back in my life and very excited for all the fun we’ll have together at A Body Empowered!!!
