If you live in or near Wilmington, there is a good chance you have heard of the brilliant talent of Matt Davis and Life Stage Films. When we decided to move to Wilmington 3 years ago, I started my search for the best of the best in the wedding industry. Matt was one of the first wedding professionals I contacted once I returned from maternity leave. He has truly been friendly, and welcoming since day one! Matt is an extremely talented film maker, and business man as well as a family man… so needless to say he is a very busy guy! He did not hesitate for a second when I asked him to grab lunch with me, which I appreciate to this day. During our lunch Matt helped me out with some good info about the wedding biz here, but that wasn’t all we talked about. We talked about our families and our babies 🙂 Matt knows how passionate I am about all things pregnancy, birth and baby related, so he asked me to photograph his family with their newest and smallest addition, Adeline. I was truly honored and excited when Matt approached me with this request.
Upon walking into the Davis’s home, I was greeted by his beautiful and sweet wife, Melissa, and darling little Penelope. Oh my goodness. I think if I would have had a little more time with Penelope, she might have become my new bff. I just love that little girl! We had a wonderful afternoon capturing the life of a family with a newborn and big sis 🙂 All it takes is one glance at these photos to see how much love this family holds. They have been blessed, for sure, and I was so lucky to be there to capture this blessing!
