Theresa + Kris’s Fort Fisher Wedding ceremony was romantic and rustic. The extremely fun reception at one of my favorite Wilmington nc wedding venues, 128 South Catering and Events. The always incredible Brittany with Orchid Island Events helped Theresa plan her day so her vision for her dream wedding could become a reality. Their day was absolutely perfect and one of the most fun receptions I have ever photographed.
When I met with Theresa and her mom at our initial consolation, they mentioned two things that made me reeeaaaally want to book this wedding. 1: They planned on having a faux doorway of some sort to walk through into the ceremony and 2. They preferred a photo journalistic style. I LOVE when a couple prefers a more candid style because it gives me more time to focus on capturing the day as it happens, which is the way we always want to remember it!
I didn’t meet Kris until the day of the wedding, but I instantly adored him. He is super tall, super nice, and so obviously madly in love with Theresa.
Thank you Theresa, Kris and both of your families for having Trinity and I there tocapture your day. It was an honor to photograph your wedding, and I enjoyed reliving it during the editing process once again.
