This family session is very special to me. Scott and I met in 7th grade at the Canton, Ohio food fest. I remember thinking, “wow, this boy is obnoxious!” Well, apparently something intrigued me about him because we have been very good friends ever since. Scott is one of those guys that is the perfect mix of masculine and sensitive. He loves his football and beer, but he’ll tear up over something emotional right along with me 🙂 ( I hope I don’t get in trouble for saying all this 😉 )I probably know a side of Scott that not all others see, but that’s what I love about him. I always knew Scott would be an incredible husband and father, and I was absolutely right. Watching him with his son is is so precious! He found his perfect match when he met Hilary in college, and he chased her down and did not give up until he slipped a ring on her finger : ) These two have created a beautiful family and they make a great team!!! Something I have learned is a MUST when parenting. I was truly excited and honored to photograph them here on the beach. I was especially excited because Hilary is one of my biggest supporters. Jake turned One year in June, so we decided to capture this special time during their visit to Kure Beach just a few weeks after his birthday.
Jake is one of the happiest babies I know. You’ll notice in these photos there is no shortage of smiles : )
