I received a phone call from Matt a few weeks back asking about my availability for a For the Fun of It photo session. He and his girlfriend Sam would be in town visiting family and wanted a take the opportunity to have some professional photos taken. Once I heard their story, I was completely excited! Sam and Matt met here in SD last May, only weeks before they both had plans to relocate! Sam was moving to Georgia for a fabulous job opportunity, and Matt was heading all the way to New Zealand to go back to school to become a Vet. Something inside them both said…I can’t let this go…and they have been dating long distance since. They see each other every 3-6 months for anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months at a time. Thanks to new technology like SKYPE, they are able to see each other and talk often. They are so in love, and being with them made me appreciate how blessed I am to wake up to Jeremy EVERYDAY! All I know is, if you two get married one day, I will be right there ready to photograph the wedding of the decade 🙂 !!!
