I remember getting the first email from Drea inquiring about my services. She wrote ” I love color and want a photographer that is equally addicted to it – that and chasing the light to create amazing drama.” Right there I knew I had to book this wedding : ) Nothing is better than working with a client that encourages me to be creative, and since I am also addicted to color, I just knew I was meant to work with this couple 😉
I had the pleasure of photographing Drea + Shawn’s intimate Destination Wedding in the Gorgeous North Carolina Outer Banks. The ceremony and reception were both held at The Sanderling in Duck, NC. This adorable town is quaint and beautiful and was the perfect fit for this wedding. I met both Drea + Shawn for the first time on their wedding day, but it didn’t take long for me to learn a few things about them. Simply put, they are good people who support, love and care deeply for each other and the people in their lives.
