I was feeling ill…again…yesterday. I was secretly hoping it would rain so we would have to reschedule! shhhhh. Well, needless to say, it didn’t. So, I drug my butt out of the house and down to mission valley for a photo shoot. As soon as we got there, my eyes widened, the corners of my mouth turned up, and that weird layer of haze lifted from my eyes. I don’t know why but this is what happens when I get a camera in my hands. This time it was extra special because I had a camera, a ridiculously gorgeous model, a fun crew, and a plethora of time 🙂 I had to stop several times throughout the shoot to say out loud how excited I was. So, in case you haven’t noticed where this is going, it was made loud and clear to me how blessed I am to get up EVERYDAY and do what I love for a living. Take now for instance…I should be baking three pies for tomorrow…and I will! But first, I HAD to post some of these images because I am just too excited! This Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful to have made it this far in my career. I am grateful for the people who come into my life as clients and stay as friends. I am thankful that Amy and I get to photograph beautiful people in love and hang out with each other…..for work!!! I am grateful that my husband believed in me and encouraged me to quit a salary job in order to follow my heart. I am grateful to my parents for ALWAYS telling me I can do anything. I am thankful to my friends and family for continuously sharing their love for my work…..

I had another amazing photo shoot for D’Angelos Couture dress shop yesterday. Our absolutely stunning model, Briahnna Gonzalez, brought on inspiration and excitement that every wedding photographer needs this time of year! 🙂 I am so grateful to have found her, and I have a feeling you’ll be seeing her around here a lot in the near future 🙂
I also want to thank Patty and Amy for being such wonderful assistants! I honestly couldn’t have done it w/o them!!!
