Still considering a bridal portrait session, or maybe wondering why? I love working with my brides on a bridal portrait session prior to the wedding. It is true that it is a southern tradition, but there are so many more reason for scheduling a bridal portrait session. I hope this Wilmington NC Bellamy Mansion Bridal Portrait Session will give you some inspiration to schedule your own shoot.
First off, it gives you a chance to wear your wedding gown more than once, and who doesn’t want to do that?! 2nd, It gives us the opportunity to spend a relaxed and fun time capturing beautiful wedding portraits of you without the rush and time restraints of the wedding day. Lastly, there are many ways to display these photos either at the wedding, or in your home. Many clients choose to go with a 16×20 framed portrait at the reception, however we also offer gorgeous heirloom boxes that mothers love to display. I also love these boxes because you can combine your engagement session, bridal, and wedding pictures. The photos are mounted on art board and you can rotate the ones you have on display!
As for this beautiful bride, Allison. She and her (now) husband Derek currently live in Oklahoma, so we had a fun filled week of sessions during their wedding trip. We managed to squeeze the bridal shoot, rehearsal, engagement, and wedding all into one week. I had so much fun working with them. Allison is a brilliant surgeon, so she knows how to stay relaxed and present.
Brittany with Orchid island Events guided Allison through the process of choosing the perfect vendors for her wedding, as well as designing the beautiful and elegant ceremony and reception, both held at the Bellamy Mansion Museum in downtown Wilmington, NC
Other vendors that helped on the bridal shoot were Bombshell brides, and Beautiful flowers by June.
Here are some of my favorites. If you are considering a bridal portrait session in Wilmington, NC, the Bellamy Mansion Museum is a gorgeous backdrop.
Stay tuned for some favorites from the wedding!
