Sarah + Jimmy got married in Holly Ridge, NC on a beautiful open landscape. This was a treat for Amy + I, because if you know much about CA, there aren’t a lot of trees, or open land. 😉
Sarah looked so beautiful and Jimmy cried during the ceremony… My favorite! Nothing better than seeing a groom in tears over the love of his life. The rain didn’t ruin their wedding, and luckily it stayed away long enough for us to create some beautiful portraits. We did end up moving into the tent for the ceremony, but the bride and groom could have cared less! As long as they were married, they were happy. Steve Allen, Sarah’s dad, is a pastor and he married them! I have no idea how he held it together, but sure enough he did, and it was so beautiful. I have to send a huge thank you to Jane Allen, Sarah’s mom, for being so involved in everything! This wedding wouldn’t have happened without her love and attention to detail. Jane has a great eye, and a passion for beautiful images, so we of course felt honored to be the chosen photographer.
