Q: How far in advance should I schedule my session?

A:

It is best to book your session about 6 weeks before you need your album in hand. I have limited availability and my schedule does book up fast so please give yourself time. If you know you want to do a session, book now! Many of my clients book months in advance to make sure they get the date they want!
Q: "How much do you charge for boudoir sessions?

A:

Our all inclusive collections including hair + makeup, photo shoot, and images start around $695. You pay a deposit of $200 for a regular shoot, or $500 for a full shoot, and the rest is paid at the viewing when you decide on your package. Most clients spend around $1500-$2500 total on everything, however you can certainly do a shoot and have lovely photos for much less.

Q: "Do we need to meet you in person before we book?" 

A:

I would love to meet you in person, but it’s not necessary. Most of my clients are very busy, so we talk on the phone or via email, and we meet for the first time the day of the shoot. That said if you are more comfortable meeting in person, then let's set it up!
Q: “How would you describe your style?”

A:

My images have a very classic and romantic, as well as mysterious and moody. If you are wanting something beautiful, sexy, tasteful, and classic then I'm your girl.

Q: “How long have you been photographing boudoir?"

A:

I had my own boudoir session done in 2008 as a gift for my husband. It literally changed the way i viewed myself, and I knew I wanted to start offering boudoir to my clients. January of 2009 I opened my first boudoir studio!

Q: "I'm not photogenic and never like photos of myself. Is boudoir for me?"

A:

All the more reason to do a session. It's pretty incredible what the combination of a professional photographer, hair + makeup, and the right angles and lighting for your body, can do for you!!!

Q: "Do you retouch the photos?"

A:

I am happy to soften lines, remove blemishes and bruises, and smooth skin a bit if needed. I do not like to alter your body, though. I do my very best to help you pick the right outfits and pose you in the most flattering ways. I want you love these photos and see YOU, not a retouched version of yourself. You are beautiful as you are.

Q: “Do you only photograph boudoir?"

A:

No! In addition to boudoir, I photograph all types of portraits including headshots, senior portraits, families, beauty and glamour, and kids.

Q: “Are you willing to travel?”

A:

Absolutely! If you can not come to Wilmington, NC, I would love to come to you!! We can put together a party and you can invite your friends, drink wine, and take turns getting pampered!
Q: “Will I receive digital images from my shoot?”

A:

You have the option to add on digital images at your viewing.
